FD-1 Distortion

The Details

 

The Havok Elektronix FD-1 is a hand-built high-gain preamp pedal inspired by one of the most iconic solid-state amp front ends in metal history. J201 FETs were used to deliver a tube-like attack, smoother clipping, and punch. Minor component tweaks keep the feel and frequency response true to the original while using modern-spec parts for reliability. The FD-1 excels at tight, percussive riffing and saturated leads without mud.
